Bulgari

A much-loved designer emanating from Italy and using Italian art and culture in all of its distinctive frames, Bulgari chooses to be both eye-catching and attentive to detail and draws its success from Roman Art and thorough quality of material.

Bulgari holds its place as one of the oldest designers in fashion. It formed in the late 1800s in Rome, predominantly creating classic pieces of jewellery and unique antiques for the royalty of Rome. This can still be seen today by the fact that the majority of its sunglass frames contain many jewels on the sides of its frames setting it aside from its sunglass rivals with unique designs.

One of the first international sites for Bulgari retail products opened in New York City. However, the popularity of this store quickly meant that other retail stores were set up around the world, most notably Paris, a fashion capital.

Nowadays, Bulgari has reached such a popular level that it has over 230 stores. It could be argued that the most successful items in the company's product range are the high quality and classic designer sunglasses which offer constant exclusive, upmarket designs.

CELEBRITY STATUS: The Bulgari range of sunglasses always attracts a long list of high flying celebrities. Top English actress Kate Beckinsale has been spotted sporting Bulgari sunglasses many times on her trips abroad. The central focus of the Bulgari name is encapsulated in the fact that Britney Spears, Tara Reid, Mariah Carey and Bono have all worn a pair of Bulgari sunglasses, substantiating the development of the Bulgari trend.
