Dior Designer Sunglasses
Christian Dior has been proclaimed as “The most recognized name in fashion”. Christian Dior virtually dictated fashion styles in the 1950’s, he pioneered license agreements in the fashion business and in 1953 he hired Yves Saint- Laurent as an assistant.
Yves Saint-Laurent became head designer after Dior’s untimely death in 1957, however his legend still lives on and Dior is undoubtedly one if not the most exclusive brands in the world. Prominent Hollywood figures and European high-class became instant clients of Dior and this remains the case to this day.
The first Christian Dior collection after Dior’s death was a sensation. Designed in just nine weeks by the 21 year-old Yves Saint Laurent, the clothes were as meticulously made and perfectly proportioned as Dior’s in the same exquisite fabrics, but their young designer made them softer, lighter and easier to wear.
This attention to detail in clothing is also reflected in Dior designer sunglasses with some truly outstanding and debonair designs.
CELEBRITY STATUS: Will Smith, on the advertising cover of his film 'Hancock,' launched in 2008 is seen wearing a pair of 'Dior Mist' designer sunglasses. In addition to Smith, Paris Hilton has been spotted on the streets of Los Angeles sporting 'Dior Glossy' sunglasses, a frame rated highly by Optisavers-Online for those wishing to make a true fashion statement.
Gwen Stefani has also been spotted this year walking the streets of New York in her Dior designer sunglasses with diamonte sides.
