Ski goggles are one of the must have accessories for anyone planning a skiing trip. Ski goggles aren’t just a fashion accessory, they are a necessity to protect your eyes when skiing (or snowboarding).
Those of you who have been skiing will know how bright the sun is when it bounces back up of the white snow so it is important to protect your eyes from this with a pair of ski goggles, not just to help you see where you are going but to prevent any long term damage being done to your eyes. Ski goggles also prevent the wind, rain and more often than not, snow, stinging your eyes as they cover your eyes completely and don’t allow anything to get around them (if you get a pair of ski goggles that fit you properly).
Ski goggles are recommended over regular sunglasses as they will stay in place when you’re skiing (or snowboarding) which means there is less chance of you losing them. Ski goggles, as mentioned above are also chosen over sunglasses due to the protection they provide against all the different types of weather you may be exposed to while out skiing (or snowboarding).
Sometimes the weather conditions can be really bad and depending on the speed at which you ski (or snowboard) will determine how powerful the snow/sleet hits your face. If you are wearing a pair of ski goggles this won’t be too much of a problem as most of your face will be covered by them but if you were wearing a pair of designer sunglasses it would be a different story.
